Puddings, Ducklings, Sprite, KKs and the Yr 3/4 Boys...
Can't believe this is only our second day of our trip and tomorrow will be the last day of our final KS2 JEJU trip. We have been enjoying ourselves, having great time laughing and experiencing some life skills too,, I have to say.., every minute and every hour,, were a moment of a new learning challenge. We are loving this! The Ducklings, Sprite, Puddings, KKs ( Cool Cats) and the Year 3 /4 boys ; the children created their teams' names and they all have been positive with giving out golden cups and being together strong as a team for 2 days so far!
Splashing, running around, singing along,barbecuing our own meals and make their own rooms,, wow our kids truly did many jobs that made themselves proud! VERY IMPRESSIVE KS2. I am sure tomorrow will be another day to look forward to!! ,, .
Everyone is safe and we are ready take rock and roll for DAY 3!

Day 2 Jeju Trip 2016
Today was a very active and fun day. We began with a fantastic buffet breakfast that catered for everyone's gastronomic desires. From breakfast, it was to the rooms to prepare for the day. A short bus trip later, and we were at the Chocolate Museum. We started by snacking on the lawn, with snacks provided by our resident heroine, Ms. Charlotte. The Museum also provided us with free samples of their chocolate, which didn't last long!
Once we entered the museum, we felt as though we had entered an alternate reality. A life size chocolate Spiderman stood next to small ceramic bells; Santa Clauses stood around a fake fireplace just past the history of chocolate making from the Aztec Empire to present day. We wandered around the halls until it was time to begin our chocolate making experience.
We began by putting on our chef's hat and apron. Then we melted the chocolate and poured it carefully into chocolate piping bags. We then cut the ends off the bags and piped the still warm contents into moulds. The chocolate then went into the fridge to harden and we started cleaning up. When the alarm finally sounded, and the chocolate was solid, we were given boxes and carefully placed them in. We were then given a certificate saying that we had made the chocolate ourselves.
From here, it was another short bus trip to the beach. Although the weather was not perfect, we weren't deterred. We began our beach adventure with a light lunch, we sat in the cool breeze, watching the surfers and eating our sandwiches. Afterwards, we went into the water. Originally told to stay at ankle depth, we soon realised that the water was calm and so we moved in a little further. This very quickly led to children and teachers splashing each other and having the time of our lives.
We eventually exited the water and played some beach games. We changed into our dry clothes but soon realised that we had overstayed our time on the beach. We decided it was time to return to the hotel, which was probably the best decision as some of the children had forgotten to bring dry clothes to change into.
We got back to the hotel and showered. We played some games and relaxed for a little while before boarding the bus once more for our final destination of the day... the barbecue restaurant.
The restaurant was waiting for us, prepared with fish and meat to feed our army. We had a great time cooking the food for the children on the barbecue. The children enjoyed retelling stories from their adventure so far.
After the children had eaten their weight in barbecue food, we headed outside and played some final music games. The children also enjoyed watching the black pigs in the garden.
Finally, the bus brought us back to the hotel. The children had a busy night showering, packing and organising their rooms in preparation for our early departure in the morning.

And as for all the other stories? As they say... what happens on Jeju stays on Jeju!! (or you could always ask your children).

3 Days and 2 Nights in Jeju for KS2!
Jeju seemed to be a bit a grey when we arrived but it didn't stop us from having fun!
The activities were enjoyable and the children were great at following instructions. Not only are the children learning great team work but also earning loads of golden cups for their amazing behaviour. The treasure hunt in miniature land will be their final activity in Jeju. I hope this trip will last as one of the most valuable memories in their childhood. Thank you KS2 and the teachers for being such a lovely group to travel with.

Jeju is Lots of Fun
I wish every day was beach day because we got to push each other into the water and I think Mr. Dougal had great fun in the beach because he was pushing everyone into the water. I also loved the Chocolate Factory because I got to eat lots of yummy chocolate. After the beach we went to the hotel because we were all sanded up so we washed. The after that we ate dinner; it was delicious. Lillian, who kept on saying embedded clause, was eating crazily.
Jeju
My favourite part was the beach because everyone got very wet and the teachers even came in. Mr. Dougal was playing with everyone in the water and we were trying to push him under but we couldn't because he was too strong. Mr. Dougal lost his ring but I found it in the waves. Another one of my favourite parts was the maze because it was very confusing but fun to win. I liked the barbecue place for dinner because it was very fun and it had pigs in the garden and we played a game afterwards in the garden. I liked the Chocolate Factory because I made chocolate.
Jeju Trip
I like the beach that was very clean. I played with water in the salty sea. The black pig was very yummy and cute. I liked the Chocolate factory because it smelt good and made the chocolate.
